move

moving our body is one of the most important things we can do support ourselves, especially with the intention of aging gracefully. it is a humbling practice i encounter engagement and resistance to daily.

currently, my movement routine consists of the five tibetan rites, some adopted yoga poses, deep and intentional breathing and a 4 minute workout followed by 33 rotations of spinning. it takes me 12 minutes a day and has improved my breath capacity and opened some fascial lines that have been stuck for decades. my weekly dance temple brings me the most joy, as well.

whatever movements bring you joy, stick with them. bodies change, life chapters end and new ones begin. things are constantly changing around us. by being adaptable, we learn to grow and age with grace and strength.

check out my substack and receive the invitation to join my whatsapp movement group when it launches. as i develop engagement on the substack platform, i will hold occasional collective and energetic gathering spaces to practice movement and meditation, rooted in intentionality and connection. hosted spinal energetic, sound and collective energy events will be made available to subscribers before the public as well. i will also share snippets of the artistic process, sneak peeks of projects and wips, as well as lots of other fun things to follow along for!
